Bungie's shooter hits new user milestone Destiny Reaches 17 Million Users

Bungie's online shooter Destiny now has more than 17 million registered players, the developer announced today during a Game Developers Conference presentation in San Francisco. This is up from 16 million registered players a month ago. Of course, this doesn't mean the game has actually sold 17 million copies, but it's a new milestone all the same.

We Know About Destiny's 'House of Wolves'

The House of Wolves is the second expansion pack for Destiny, following last year's The Dark Below. Bungie has promised to fix some of the issues that players have complained about from that update with this new one, and despite the company's efforts to hold onto its secrets, several leaks have provided details on what The House of Wolves will include.

The app features have a lot of flexibility. You can shift gear around whether or not you’re signed into the game. You can even watch the changes happen in real time if you move items to/from the Vault or equip/unequip something on the character you happen to be using.

The update for Bungie's popular first-person shooter video game Destiny is already rolling out and it offers changes like weapon balances, bug fixes, matchmaking adjustments and more others. Bungie's official Twitter help page informed players of a necessary rebooting to install the latest patch. Bungie listed the following details for the Destiny 1.1.1 patch. Reddit user megeamanexe4, a dataminer that has been responsible for many of the House of Wolves leaks, claims to be able to predict what Xur will sell alongside accurately describing what the weekly strikes will be and which modifiers will be attached to them. So far he has come pretty close if not nailing them all right on the head.

Bungie has updated the app with a very useful feature: Vault management.

You'll now be able to access your account's Vault of items through Bungie.net as well as the Destiny mobile app. Bungie's engineering lead Chris Gossett gave a few examples of how you might use this feature:
