It might seem like Batman fans are the angriest gamers right now, but Destiny fans are giving them a run for their money. Following some pretty dismal interviews, Bungie has apologized officially and offered up a solution. Kind of.

It's that wonderful time when Bungie's rotating selection of high-reward activities are rebooted (along with any raid progress made in the previous week), giving everyone a fresh chance at scoring some of the game's sweetest and rarest loot.

Last week at E3, Bungie was showing off The Taken King, the new expansion for Destiny. We saw and played a bit of the expansion while we were at at the convention; it looks pretty good. Various controversies notwithstanding, we’ll have more coverage of what we saw this week.

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny, bringing with it a new Nightfall and Strike. There will also be changes to the Prison of Elders’ Arena stages though it’s nothing you haven’t fought before.

Destiny players have discovered that the Level 35 Prison of Elders fight with Skolas is one of the more difficult boss fights in the game. Destiny power leveling make you upgrade quickly, This is because the encounter throws four different mechanics at PlayStation and Xbox owners, including two at the same time.

When Destiny: The Taken King arrives on September 15, it will include exclusive content for PlayStation users – content Xbox players won’t get until fall 2016.

The Broken Legion encounter in Destiny’s Prison of Elders helps to give the Cabal some much-needed endgame content. PlayStation and Xbox owners will have to defeat Valus Trau’ug, Cabal Juggernaut to get any of the Level 28 through Level 34 loot though. If you want to quickly upgrade, you can choose Destiny Power Leveling.

With Crota having been killed in The Dark Below expansion, a darkness like never before seen has arisen to take revenge on Eris Morn and the Guardians. Led by Oryx, the creator behind Crota and the master of The Taken, an army ripped from our world and possessed by the Darkness itself.

The weekly reset is here, meaning your Marks caps have been reset. It also means that new Heroic and Nightfall strikes have been added, as well as the rotation of Prison of Elders arenas.

Good news for Destiny fans new and old: a legendary edition that includes all of the DLC previously released will hit storeshelves alongside the newest expansion: The Taken King.

Bungie has revealed details on the three new subclasses that will flesh out the suite of elemental options for each of Destiny’s three guardian classes, as well as info on the grenades and other features that define each new style of play.
