It's that wonderful time when Bungie's rotating selection of high-reward activities are rebooted (along with any raid progress made in the previous week), giving everyone a fresh chance at scoring some of the game's sweetest and rarest loot.

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg attributes this ongoing success to the strong cadence of carefully curated add-on content -- which is consciously different than that of Call of Duty -- that actively improves Destiny.

Destiny players have a chance to score a rare weapon in this week’s Iron Banner. Destiny developer Bungie has announced the return of the Iron Banner from 10:00am PT on Tuesday. Destiny power leveling will help you acquire rare weapons.

Since Bungie first announced the Taken King DLC for Destiny, most of the Internet has been just one step short of enraged. The thing making people most angry is the pricing for this new content as well as the way the company claimed to be rewarding longtime players, that didn’t look like all that great of a reward.

Bungie recently made some announcements about the upcoming Destiny: The Taken King expansion pack and that originally gamers who already owned the game would have to pay the full price of the Collector's Edition in order to get new emotes, shaders and other trinkets.

This past week, there was a lot of controversy surrounding Destiny, a video game in which players travel through space collecting unique resources such as Spinmetal, Helium Filaments, and Red Bull.

That's when Xur, Agent of the Nine, appears in a random part of the game's social spaces to peddle his rare weapons and armor. As long as you have enough Strange Coins, Destiny power leveling makes you easier to get Strange Coins

It might seem like Batman fans are the angriest gamers right now, but Destiny fans are giving them a run for their money. Following some pretty dismal interviews, Bungie has apologized officially and offered up a solution. Kind of.

Last week at E3, Bungie was showing off The Taken King, the new expansion for Destiny. We saw and played a bit of the expansion while we were at at the convention; it looks pretty good. Various controversies notwithstanding, we’ll have more coverage of what we saw this week.

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny, bringing with it a new Nightfall and Strike. There will also be changes to the Prison of Elders’ Arena stages though it’s nothing you haven’t fought before.

Destiny players have discovered that the Level 35 Prison of Elders fight with Skolas is one of the more difficult boss fights in the game.
