How the Easter Eggs Work in Destiny
Easter Eggs have been confirmed for Destiny due to the publicly exposed Activision court documents.In summary, before each Destiny game is released, Bungie must provide Activision with a list of Easter eggs (usually secrets or pop culture references).
Bungie may have had the idea for Destiny for quite sometime. An easter egg in Halo 3: ODST was found in one of the many in-game advertising boards. The image has a picture of Earth with what appears to be "The Traveler" next to it. There is also text on the advertisement that says, "Destiny Awaits"
Turn on The Postmaster's Fan, Float a Friend
In The Tower, you can jump on top of the Postmaster's hut and stand on large fan. Meanwhile, have a friend run to the staircase just to the right of the hut (facing out, towards the city) and he or she can hit a button that will activate the fan. You won't see a button, but a prompt for turning on the fan will appear.
See Your Ship in the Tower Hangar Bay
If you enter the Hangar to the right as soon as you enter The Tower, you can see a brief animation of your ship being towed into the dock.
