Destiny Xur’s Exotic Goods For Weekend Of July 3 - Nice Stat Rolls

PlayStation and Xbox owners may be disappointed that there’s no “House of Wolves” Exotic to purchase this week, but the selection is surprisingly not bad, all things considered. Xûr, Agent of the Nine, has returned to the Tower in Destiny on Friday bearing older Exotic pieces to purchase at strong stat rolls. Destiny power leveling services that you can get these powerful weapons.

Destiny players looking for Xûr should turn right and head toward the hangar after spawning at the Tower. Once you’ve gone through the long hallway and entered the hangar, turn right and you will see the seller of Exotics. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map, just to be sure.

Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, July 5. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.

The Exotic armor pieces on sale this week may be old, but Xûr isn’t fooling around with the rolls this week. All three pieces are close to the new maximum stat rolls for helmets and chest. Veteran Destiny players may consider picking these up solely for the upgrade while newer players will get excellent pieces to help them along.

Here is what is available for sale and upgrade from Xûr this weekend. Thanks again to DestinyDB for the Exotic information below.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.

The Universal Remote shotgun is one of the rare non-primary weapons that can be placed in the primary weapon slot. It’s not a top-tier shotgun in terms of its range and impact, but the 100 percent damage buff in PVE has been a boon to the weapon. It is still mostly a novelty weapon in Destiny, however.

An Insurmountable Skullfort is the other helmet available for Striker Titans in Destiny. It’s not a bad option, just not as favored as the other Exotic Titan helmets or chest plates available. It is geared toward health regeneration with the Infusion perk that replenishes health when picking up Orbs. Meanwhile, the Improved Transfusion perk regenerates health when killing enemies with the Fist of Havoc. Not bad to have for the final encounter in the Crota’s End raid or for PvP, but not as useful as other Exotics like Helm of Saint-14, Inmost Most Light, or Armamentarium.

The 131 Discipline stat roll is just a couple of points off the new maximum. This is an excellent upgrade pickup for the helmet since it has not been sold in a while.

The Lucky Raspberry is the exotic chest armor made for the Hunter Bladedancer sub-class. Its class specific perk, Improved Arcbolt Grenade, allows the Arcbolt grenade to chain further and lets you spawn with full grenade energy; excellent for PvP usage. Meanwhile, it also comes with two perks to increase the amount of Fusion Rifle and Heavy Weapon ammo you can carry.

The 172 Intellect stat roll is, again, superb. Another piece to upgrade this week.

The Apotheosis Veil helmet for Warlocks is a utility helmet that works well with either sub-class. It’s primary benefit in Destiny currently is to help with survivability in the Crota’s End raid. The Infusion Perk will replenish health when you pick up Orbs of Light while the Private Reserves immediately regenerates your health when activating our Super ability. These are useful in some PVE situations as well as during hairy encounters in Nightfall strikes and the like.

The 130 Discipline is only a couple of points away from the new maximum. This is another Exotic Destiny piece that is worth upgrading from a lower roll.
