Destiny: House of Wolves' multiplayer Trials
Destiny developer Bungie is adding the Trials of Osiris, a new player-versus-player setup, to the shooter with the House of Wolves expansion, and the studio released a teaser today with some snippets of footage of the multiplayer mode.
The brief video, which you can watch above, appears to confirm rumors that the Trials of Osiris will be a three-on-three affair in the Crucible. The Guardians in the clip are sporting some awesome-looking golden armor and weapons.
Bungie announced last week that the Trials of Osiris will be a weekly event running from Friday to Tuesday. At the time, the studio revealed a character named Brother Vance in the Queen's Bay, the new social space, who will serve as the guide and handler for the Trials. Last week's livestream focused on the Queen's Bay and Bungie's changes to Destiny's gear upgrade paths.
A full unveiling of the Trials of Osiris will come in Bungie's second House of Wolves livestream, which will begin at 11 a.m. PT tomorrow, April 29, on the studio's Twitch channel. Community manager David "DeeJ" Dague will host the event, along with Crucible designers Derek Carroll and Lars Bakken, as well as a Destiny player who goes by "tripleWRECK."
